About Us
Johnny Therriault School is named after the late and memorable Johnny Therriault – a father, and grandfather who was engaged and passionate about education. It is our sincerest hope that his commitment to life-long learning and his cultural and traditional connectedness will be a lesson and inspiration to many, while at the same time honouring his memory.
The Johnny Therriault School follows the Ontario Curriculum and includes land-based learning, Ojibway language instruction, and mental health and nutrition programs. Small class sizes ensure that students receive exceptional instructional support. Johnny Therriault School is located 4 hours from Thunder Bay, Ontario and 50mins from Geraldton, Ontario.
